At Rilaxe, we believe in consuming responsibly and we’d like to share with you how our Dried Infused Fruits can be a responsible alternative to cannabis edibles. Each fruit is designed on what “high” to expect for its intended user from beginner to more advanced.
For every user, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, all edibles should be consumed responsibly. When it comes to edibles finding your optimal dosage is key to a more responsible experience.
It’s recommended to start with a smaller dose for your first time and then increase the amount of consumption as you feel suitable. A good dose to begin with is 2.5mg of THC and see how you feel after an hour. If you don’t feel the effects within 30 to 60 minutes, dose yourself with another 2.5mg of THC and slowly increase your dosage to your desired effect.
Keep in mind that our digestive system takes time to break down the THC and for the effects to actually be recognizable.
We also highly recommend eating edibles on a full stomach to help elevate your high as the THC binds to anything fatty. If consumed on an empty stomach it will only delay the high. We know you probably have more questions and below are questions we think you may want answered:
When will I start feeling the effects and for how long?
When you start to feel the effects vary per individual. A lot of key factors are considered in this case such as dosage and potency and also how our endocannabinoid system interacts with our receptors. You can start to recognize the onset of one cannabis edible within 30-60 minutes. If you don’t, you can dose yourself with another one and see how you feel – this way you can find what dosage works best for you.
A lot of other components such as tolerance and how we metabolize THC and what we ate in the day play a role on when we start to feel the effects but also the duration of the high. The duration of the effects when you eat cannabis edibles also vary depending on dosage and potency. Generally, an edible high can last up to 4-10 hours.
